IDMI.Net is now scanning incoming and outgoing e-mail for viruses using Vircom ModusMail. The anti-virus component of our mail server software is based on the Norman Data Defense engine. Infected mail is cleaned on our server and a message is sent to the sender and recipient warning them about the virus. The virus signatures are updated daily, but IDMI.Net cannot guarantee the solution will be 100% effective.
In addition to scanning e-mails for viruses, we also block the following file extensions from being sent as attachments:

*.ade
*.adp
*.bas
*.bat
*.chm
*.cmd
