Setting up Outlook Express for Windows.
- Open Outlook Express.
- Select Tools -> Accounts from the menu.

- Click the “Mail” tab.
- Click the “Add” button, and then select “Mail” from the menu that appears.

- Enter your name in the space provided.
- Click the “Next” button.

- Enter your email address in the space provided.
- Click the “Next” button.

- Leave the “My incoming mail server is a” drop down menu set to “POP3”.
- Enter “mail.idmi.net” in the spaces provided for “Incoming mail server” and “Outgoing mail server”.
- Click the “Next” button.

- In the “Account Name” field, enter your full email address (xxx@domain.com).
- Enter your password in the field provided.
- Make sure “Remember Password” is checked.
- Click the “Next” button.

- Click the “Finish” button.
- Click on the mail account you just created and then select “Properties”.

- In the menu that appears, click on the “Servers” tab.
- Check the box next to “My Server Requires Authentication”.
- Click the “Settings” button.

- On the menu that appears, make sure that the “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” option is selected.
- Click "OK".

- Click on the "Advanced" tab.
- Change the "Outgoing mail(SMTP)" port number from "25" to "587".
- Click “OK” and then click “Close".
