Setting up Mac OS X Mail.

1. Open Mail.
2. Select Mail -> Preferences from the menu.

3. Click on the “Accounts” tab, and then click on the “+” in the lower left of the window.

4. Select “POP” from the drop down menu.
5. Enter a description for your account.
6. Enter your name and email address in the spaces provided.
7. Click “Continue”.

8. In the “Incoming Mail Server” field, enter mail.idmi.net.
9. In the “User Name” field, enter your full email address.
10. Enter your password in the “Password” field.
11. Click “Continue”.

12. In the “Outgoing Mail Server” field, enter mail.idmi.net.
13. Check the box next to “Use Authentication”.
14. Enter your full email address in the “User Name” field.
15. Enter your password in the “Password” field.
16. Click “Continue”.

17. A summary of your account information will appear. Click “Continue” then “Done”.

18. Select Mail -> Preferences from the menu.
19. Click on the "Accounts" tab and then click the "Server Settings" button.
20. Enter "587" in the space next to "Server port".
21. Click "OK".
22. Close the "Accounts" window.
23. If asked to save, click the "Save" button.
