Setting up Mac OS X Mail.
- Open Mail.
- Select Mail -> Preferences from the menu.

- Click on the “Accounts” tab, and then click on the “+” in the lower left of the window.

- Select “POP” from the drop down menu.
- Enter a description for your account.
- Enter your name and email address in the spaces provided.
- Click “Continue”.

- In the “Incoming Mail Server” field, enter mail.idmi.net.
- In the “User Name” field, enter your full email address.
- Enter your password in the “Password” field.
- Click “Continue”.

- In the “Outgoing Mail Server” field, enter mail.idmi.net.
- Check the box next to “Use Authentication”.
- Enter your full email address in the “User Name” field.
- Enter your password in the “Password” field.
- Click “Continue”.

- A summary of your account information will appear. Click “Continue” then “Done”.

- Select Mail -> Preferences from the menu.
- Click on the "Accounts" tab and then click the "Server Settings" button.
- Enter "587" in the space next to "Server port".
- Click "OK".
- Close the "Accounts" window.
- If asked to save, click the "Save" button.
