Setting up Entourage 2004 for Mac OS X

1. Open Microsoft Entourage 2004.
2. Enter your name in the fields provided.

3. Click the "Right Arrow" button.
4. Enter your address, if desired.

5. Click the "Right Arrow" button.
6. Enter company information, if desired.

7. Click the "Right Arrow" button.
8. Select the “I want to start using Entourage without importing anything” radial.

9. Click the "Right Arrow" button.
10. Check the box next to "Enable Junk Mail Filter" if desired.

11. Click the "Right Arrow" button.
12. Type your name as you would like it to appear in the messages you send in the field provided.

13. Click the "Right Arrow" button.
14. Select the “I already have an email address I’d like to use” radial, and enter your email address in the field provided.

15. Click the "Right Arrow" button.
16. Click the arrow box on the “My incoming mail server is a(n)” pop-up list and choose "POP".
17. In the "Incoming Server" field, type "mail.idmi.net".
18. In the "Outgoing Server" field, type "mail.idmi.net".
19. Click the "Right Arrow" button.

20. Type your full email address in the "Account ID" field.
21. Type your password in the field provided.
22. Check the “Save password in my Mac OS keychain” if desired.

23. Click the "Right Arrow" button.
24. In the "Account Name" field, type your entire email address.
25. Check the box next to “Include this account in my send and receive all schedule”.
26. Click the "Finish" button.

27. Choose "Accounts" from the "Tools" menu.

28. In the list that appears, select your email account.

29. Click the “Click here for advanced sending options” button.

30. Check the "Override Default SMTP port" box.
31. In the space provided, replace "25" with "587".
32. Check the “SMTP server requires authentication” box.
33. Select “Use same settings as receiving mail server”.
34. Close the "Advanced Settings" window.

35. Click "OK".
