Setting up Entourage 2004 for Mac OS X
- Open Microsoft Entourage 2004.
- Enter your name in the fields provided.

- Click the "Right Arrow" button.
- Enter your address, if desired.

- Click the "Right Arrow" button.
- Enter company information, if desired.

- Click the "Right Arrow" button.
- Select the “I want to start using Entourage without importing anything” radial.

- Click the "Right Arrow" button.
- Check the box next to "Enable Junk Mail Filter" if desired.

- Click the "Right Arrow" button.
- Type your name as you would like it to appear in the messages you send in the field provided.

- Click the "Right Arrow" button.
- Select the “I already have an email address I’d like to use” radial, and enter your email address in the field provided.

- Click the "Right Arrow" button.
- Click the arrow box on the “My incoming mail server is a(n)” pop-up list and choose "POP".
- In the "Incoming Server" field, type "mail.idmi.net".
- In the "Outgoing Server" field, type "mail.idmi.net".
- Click the "Right Arrow" button.

- Type your full email address in the "Account ID" field.
- Type your password in the field provided.
- Check the “Save password in my Mac OS keychain” if desired.

- Click the "Right Arrow" button.
- In the "Account Name" field, type your entire email address.
- Check the box next to “Include this account in my send and receive all schedule”.
- Click the "Finish" button.

- Choose "Accounts" from the "Tools" menu.

- In the list that appears, select your email account.

- Click the “Click here for advanced sending options” button.

- Check the "Override Default SMTP port" box.
- In the space provided, replace "25" with "587".
- Check the “SMTP server requires authentication” box.
- Select “Use same settings as receiving mail server”.
- Close the "Advanced Settings" window.

- Click "OK".
